About Peninsula Credit
Peninsula Credit is a New Zealand-owned and operated private credit fund manager, purpose-built to connect investor capital with established New Zealand businesses that need debt funding to grow. The connecting of experienced investors and proven businesses is achieved within a straightforward, professionally managed framework.
The Peninsula Credit leadership team and Independent Investment Committee collectively bring more than 100 years of New Zealand business lending experience to every lending decision. That depth of local knowledge matters: it shapes how Peninsula Credit sources loans, structures terms, and protects investor capital — all while delivering attractive, risk-adjusted cash returns. Governance is robust, supported by experienced independent directors and oversight from Deloitte a global professional services firm.
Peninsula Credit’s Fund II LP is an open-ended fund established in July 2025 and is accepting investors. It is an Acceptable Managed Fund under Invest New Zealand’s AIP Visa Growth category. Investment in the fund is available to AIP Visa Growth, seekers and holders, and to persons in New Zealand who are wholesale investors. Alongside investors, Peninsula Credit’s management team and associated entities have co-invested more than NZ$15,000,000 across Fund I and Fund II LP.
Fund II invests in a diversified portfolio of senior-secured loans to established New Zealand businesses, with investors receiving regular quarterly cash returns. Peninsula Credit is targeting an annual net return to investors of 3.50% over the inter-bank borrowing rate (BKBM), a targeted all-in return (after fees) to investors of 6.06% (as at September 2026). This target has been regularly exceeded. Fund II is structured as a New Zealand Limited Partnership (NZLP). This structure provides favourable tax treatment for our offshore investors.
